Frequently Asked Questions

We are planning to visit your wonderful country. Can you send us information by mail?

Unfortunately we don't mail out tourist information, but you'll find lots of material in our Visiting Finland section. An excellent starting point is the website of the Finnish Tourist Board, link below.

I'm planning to visit Finland. Are there restrictions on what I can bring with me?

You'll find import and export restrictions on the Finnish Customs Website.

What vaccinations does my pet need before travelling to Finland?

Please see the guidelines for importing pets to Finland.

I'm doing a school project on Finland. Can you please send me some information?

You can submit an information request using the feed back form.

However, you'll also find a lot of information on Finnish Websites. Before you submit an information request, have a look at our About Finland section to find sources for the information you're looking for.

I am an elementary school teacher. My students will be doing research projects on various countries, and I would appreciate any information (books, brochures, posters, etc.) you can send me.

Please submit your information request using the form in this section, and we'll be happy to help.

How can I find contact information for a person or a company in Canada?

Try the Canadian online white and yellow pages (personal and business directory)

The first step is to contact the Canadian Embassy in your resident country. For more information about emigrating to Canada, visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Website.
